False advertising in store. Always ask for something on menu to be told they don't have any. Only meat option available for menu is usually chicken only. Get told out of beef and lamb. Ask for fried chicken, none available. Meant to be a takeaway with fully functioning kitchen yet will not cook to order what stated on menu board. Another customer asked for naan bread to be told no naan. Then I ordered a rotti wrap which resembled nothing like a wrap should be. After me someone asked for rotti, was told none left... well do you make rotti wraps out of then. Smorgasboard is lovely, staff are lovely, but why have such an extensive menu when only a third is available... maybe edit your menu board or stock take better and order foods to cater to what is advertised so not constantly running out and customers can have a choice of what they can actually order. Owners are absolutely lovely and provide great service! Serving sizes were quite large as well. Unfortunately, as a lover of spicy and flavorful indian cuisine, I was disappointed by the lack of flavor in all the dishes I tried - lamb curry, chicken curry, and butter chicken. The rice was also overcooked (soft and watery tasting). With so many 5 star reviews, perhaps it was just not their best day. The chicken and lamb were cooked perfectly though! Very tender.

We made a trip to Rotorua from Auckland last weekend and we didn’t really know where to go for dinner that was affordable and delicious, with the help of aunty google we found this place! I didn’t know Rotorua had Fijian takeaway! After reading the reviews I knew I had to have some of it and boy was I glad. There are many Fijian takeaways in Auckland but I have never tried food this delicious and a menu to serve all. I wish you had a branch in Auckland I would be a regular… I will be back to Rotorua just...
