Once upon a time the Sunday roast was stunning both quality flavour and price. I had roast beef last sunday 23 August 2020 and was happy to pay the 25% price increase applied by the new owners. What a let down the beef tasted like leather and was sadly lacking any flavour. The Vegies were not as good as previously. I post this in the hope the owners take note and return to what was once the best roast meal in NZ. This from an ex tour bus driver who was lucky enough to eat in best...

Just want to say a massive thank you to the Manager Christin for taking our Group of 20x people that randomly turned up at 8pm on a cold Monday night . We had been to a Funeral & hadn't all been together for a long time so it was really hospitable to take us all in. The service was top knock & the fries went down a treat.
