Ok so, we got our starters, they were good! Got excited for the mains. Being gluten intolerant I decided to order the seared fried scallops with mash and salad. Meals got delivered, I got battered scollops with chips. We informed them and the plate was rushed back to the kitchen with the excuse that they had read the docket wrong, all good we replied! My partner dug into his fettuccine in anticipation of my meal being delivered ASAP as advised, twice. It did indeed arrive ASAP but the supposedly seared fried scallops and mash was now “seared fried” scallops and chips. Hmmm. So ok I tried a few, very chewy, then I found the remnants of batter. Yup, they’d removed the batter and warmed up the plate and redelivered. Nup, ain’t eating this. Got offered a dessert as a sorry, nope thanks. Ended up paying full price. In...

The worst meal I've had in New Plymouth since Sunworld. Didn't ask how I wanted steak cooked and then overcooked it. Didn't bring us water - we had to ask twice. Acted like it was a mission to replace hot chips with salad or order a side salad in addition to a starter for a meal. Burger patties were dry (overcooked). Hot chips over-salted & oil seemed old. Salad dressing was condensed milk and tasted like sugar poured over lettuce. Salad included lettuce, a couple slices of tomato and thick grated carrot with grated block cheese (package bought). No onion or capsicum. No choice of dressing. Staff seemed surprised customers might like a choice or to be told what dressing was.

Worst service ever! When we walked in, three staff members at the bar ignored us. I asked for a table, and we were told to choose one ourselves without being given a menu. I had to walk up and get it myself while they just looked at me and walked off. An elderly white couple walked in shortly after, and they were immediately served and seated. It felt like blatant racism. My husband went to the front counter to order, and they made him wait, looking at him and walking past. Will try again tomorrow. If we get a different service tomorrow I’m willing to change my review. If still the same...
