St Pierres Sushi (Johnsonville) — Restaurant in North Island

Very poor customer service. The lady ignored me, as the sole customer, when I was at the till with my selection until she finished tidying up other trays of sushi. No smile or greeting. She rang up the cost of my two items and without a word gave a backhand wave to the paywave. She had taken the two items and they now sat close to her. She did not offer to pass them back to me, she stared at me and then finally asked if I wanted a bag. I said yes and much to her obvious disgust I took the bag and dared to add a pair of chopsticks and one paper towell. The sushi was very lean on filling, the rice was hard and not seasoned, the nori was wet and overall the sushi was very cold, like it had recently come out of the fridge. Obviously made the day before. It's such a shame as other branches have fresh sushi, more generous fillings a very good customer service. But not...

Went to st pierres about 30 mins before it was closed just a reminder it was still open. I go in and ask for some sushi as it is all sold out and they make to order. Was surprised to find out in a somewhat annoyed tone from one of the older women that they can't make up sushi and that all you can have is teriyaki and chicken. No sorry we aren't making food or anything just rudeness. They aren't making food 30 minutes before they close? Just close at 5 instead of 5.30 if that's the case. Visited on Sunday around 4 pm. When I politely asked if they could prepare a fresh set since the avocados in the trays had turned brown from sitting there all day, the lady at the counter seemed visibly annoyed. After the fresh trays were made, she didn’t put them into takeaway bags for me—I had to ask for one, and even then, she just shoved the tray into the bag carelessly, leaving it open.
