Ā Ā Ā Read more26/04/2025.. Visited for the Moana, Crusaders games and a meal. Server explained specials, very rushed and difficult communicating through heavy accent and background noise. Ordered nachos, fettuccine and drinks. Food was average, and smaller than 3 weeks ago considering the $2 increase for mine. Never saw our server again once food arrived. Looked around for staff to order more drinks and dessert menu. 15 minutes later, service. Also discovered original server went home after shift finished š. Excited our games were starting but..without sound? Wanted to hear the anthems and especially ANZAC messages. Approached counter politely requesting to hear buildup and games. Request denied by pretentious manager. āWe ONLY play sound for home teams/home gamesā. (Or something very similar). Seriously? Didnāt get the memo. Sound reluctantly turned on. Not everyone in Wellington supports local teams etc. Paying patrons are also national/international visitors to your city/establishment š³. Not sure what became of the pre Covid staff and management, but they epitomised professionalism, customer satisfaction, and contributed to a business built on Reputation. It is also the last time I left tips for their exceptional staff members. Itās uncanny my experiences with āsubstandard and unprofessionalā tend to exist in the weekends. Finally, to the wonderful male staff member at the main door, (around 8-8.30pm), thank you for being a positive, warm and...

Now we have to struggle to find a restaurant at this time. Just a heads up if anyone is thinking of coming here and aren't 18 not impressed ruined our night. Thanks guys. RESPONSE: I also understand that you guys have to follow the law no problem with that as I also have worked behind a bar but the issue we had is that you didn't take 3 seconds to tell us that you enforce those rules in the restaurant as well as the bar I don't care that it's the governmens rules, you enforce them so you should inform your guests about them don't try and blame the government because you are to lazy to tell your guests, it's poor customer service and the fact you still can't accept the blame as it's a clear miss on your behalf shows you need some more customer...
