Stop & Eat — Restaurant in North Island

On recommendation of a local we went to this little cafe two days ago. Everything was welcoming, a simple water bottle tells how passionate the owner of this little ‘Stop & Eat’ place is! We had chicken sandwich We were told that they have a small yummy menu and that’s what happened... couldn’t get another one 😋. This place has unbelievably yummy and fresh food and 7 ✴️ for such a little clean place. Hosts are friendly too. Usually in cafes the chicken has after taste but it was as if the poultry specially delivered for them 😋. Tea was hot that’s what one would want on a rainy day. Called in for just a coffee, but the food looked delicious. Nice clean modern decor. Very nice helpful barista. And the takeaway coffee we had was the best I've had for a long time. Being a barista myself, this double shot small flat white was full of flavour, nice micro foam. Top marks. Will now be our coffee stop on the way to the coromandel....

Tried the vegan chocolate chip cookie and the spicy chai with oat milk - YUM, both so delicious. My partner had their veg pizza and a brioche which she said were outstanding. Excellent coffee too, hard to find. Love the plants, and had a wholesome chat with the owner. We will...
