*Long Post* On the 3rd I went for brunch with my family of 4 for my birthday, The 2 Burger Kids Meals had drink, sundae and a little activity bag included, kids enjoyed that. Beef Burger main was a generous meal and came with a large drink also, my tender & flavourful Twice Cooked Pork Belly looked like it was just thrown on top of a massive serving of chips( which were yummy) instead of what was suppose to be Potato Gratin which was on the menu & the slaw really was quite bland. Seafood Platter was below average, Ceviche was nice the Thai Sauce on Mussels was also nice, salmon ok but although the squid was cooked so beautifully tender it was so heavily seasoned it was inedible even after taking off the salt & pepper coating. Staff were amazing from the moment you scan in, to the moment you leave. And the whole ambience of the restaurant/bar is really nice. Overall servings sizes with each meal were large because they came with so much fries. We don't eat out at a restaurant as a family very often so I didn't want to complain on what should be a stress free day. But for $134.00 I really don't think it was worth it.

Thank you for your hospitality and allowing my family and I to celebrate our sons birthday in your garden area. The atmosphere was lovley, warm and clean considering there was another event in the same place just before us. The waitressess were very helpful and friendly, and went over and above to help us to set up our event. Lovley staff and venue, tena koutou

Nice little place with a good selection of drinks on tap and on the menu. The food was tasty, and the service was great. The creme brule was very good. The place closes at 9pm though, would think 10pm would be better so you don't have to rush quite so much, but that's just a minor niggle really.

Not usually a review reader or writer. Beautiful building. Interior inviting and spacious. And that was it. We were a party of 5 The restaurant wasn’t busy. Had to call a waitress over after a 45 minute wait to take our order. No mention of the ‘Daily Special’ which would have changed one of the orders An hour and a half later I politely approached the bar to ask if there was an ETA on the meals. Another 10 mins and we find the order has not been placed. After a discussion amongst ourselves decided to wait the promised 20 mins till meal could be prepared instead of trying to find somewhere else to eat. One of our party had to leave as she had early morning work commitments and just could not wait anymore. An apology from the person who I was dealing with, not the waitress herself. And a request from us to alleviate the feeling of losing the will to live of a round of drinks totalling $54.90 as compensation for the complete mess up. Food came and we realised immediately our massive mistake of not leaving when we could have. The food was sub-par short-order cooking at best. We had not one interaction from the staff after putting our food down except to pay the bill. In fact they avoided any kind of eye contact, no ‘Thankyou’ no ‘have a great night’ no ‘sorry for our mistake’ …. Nothing. We will not be returning and will be investing our hard earned dollars elsewhere. I wish the owner good luck for the future and hope the vibrancy from his/her staff and food one day matches the vibrancy of the aesthetic of the...

First of all: Emma the Service was wonderful. Thanks for the help and explanation of The Comm Menu! (We are a Vegan (her) and Gluten-free, meat eater (me)) Sure you wanted to know about the food and nothing else. Well here we go: I think I’ve had the best burger in my life so far (32 years old / me, not the burger). It was nasty as I just love it to be, sides were fries and the chicken bucket as a topper. My wife was hangry before we arrived and was super satisfied when we left (I count that as a good sign). She had the dumplings and a jackfruit taco or roll or yeah beats me. Ask Emma if you need to know the details. I don’t know how 4,1 stars work in a 5 star restaurant, but yeah. Nobody understands people telling bad stuff about a restaurant because a dog pooed on the beach that morning, he? We definitely recommend that restaurant! 11/10 we‘ll be back when a travel brings us in a 100km radius...
