Nice prepared food selection, finally try the Paua pockets, and cook islands food. The coffee cart was terrible. Nice arts and crafts too. And take cash, not many stalls had mobile eftpos.

I wish I lived in Whakatane so I could come here every Sunday, it's so well organised, easy to find with the amount of signage pointing you to it, awesome amount of vendors and great variety and the food!!! I left so stuffed because I was going crazy trying everything

These markets are the very best I've been to in NZ. The organizers can be proud of what they have produced here as can each of the stall holders that make it what it is. Great array of food but needs to be more coffee stalls on offer. The road signage to it was very confusing but worth the search. A real credit...
