Like how this bakery is out of the way with ample parking! Cream donuts soft fresh vanilla cream nice dusting of icing sugar and a bloody decent size for $4 yum! I love a good pie! No I didn't eat 4 pies I only had a half of each. ALL pies are $6 Steak Cheese Bacon nice sized steak cuts and plenty cheese just ozzzing perfect ratio of bacon! Steak creamy mushroom perfectly sized steak and that creamy mushroom is banging! Chicken creamy mushroom perfectly sized cuts of chicken breast cooked amazing with the same creamy mushroom with that hint of garlic👌 Seafood pie seafood is visible and creamy and thick very close in taste to the Maketu seafood pies! Pastry for all pies was impeccable not flakey not dry no soggyness yuuuuum! Will definitely be visiting again and will take photos and try other products. This new bakery is promising. Well situated, decent parking and a good variety of stuff, plus you can also get burgers. The pricing of some things may be a bit high to some. Haven't tried much from there as of yet, however I did try my favourite type of pie. The steak and cheese pie. It has great tasting pastry, smooth gravy and steak pieces that are nicely cooked and not chewy at all with an overall taste that will leave you satisfied. However, the steak pieces in my opinion are a bit too big for my liking and you will find 3-4 of them in there, maybe along with a couple of extra small pieces. If the big ones were each chopped in half, resulting in 6-8 pieces then it would be a strong contender for the best steak and cheese in town. This place is well...

I found out about this bakery by watching someone l follow on Facebook. Let's just say he was 100% correct about these pies been amazing. I specially made the trip to try one and it was without a doubt the best pie l have ever had. Steak and creamy mushroom. The filling was generous and tasty.. The crust was strong enough to not fall apart right to the last bite and yet it was flaky and tender all in the same way. We actually brought another pie each to take home for dinner they were that good. And to be honest I'm glad that the bakery is in taupo as that way l can't visit every day. 100% recommend trying them out and there other food...
