Tucked away almost out of sight in Bell Block, but we'll worth discovering, if my coffee is any guide. That's all I bought, but on a quiet Saturday morning it was humming, with steady stream of customers, some clearly well known regulars. The coffee was excellent. Well extracted and milk perfectly stretched, and temperature just right. The cabinet food looks excellent, but I was only looking for a coffee. Next time I'll arrive not having just had breakfast!

Smoked salmon cheese cream pie was fabulous, I have been looking for a good pie for myself, so I found it. Mocha was smooth, silky, best cafe in Bell Block.

Good place to have a bite and coffee while waiting for your laundry to finish 😀... Or just to enjoy the food while reading or even colouring 😁

Best place in Taranaki, definitely BBK for coffee! Love that it is family run. Love that they specialize in Keto options; their keto range is amazing and they are one of two places that properly cater to keto, with the other being a bakery(so takeaway only). Their menu is fairly standard, but with their cabinet food being the star attraction it checks all the nessecary boxes. My one negative: fix your cabinet labeling system guys!! The liquid chalk is messy and can be hard to match to the right items, and it's often 50/50 in wether the cabinet is labeled or not, which is obviously based on wether they have time to do it before they open or not. We love it here anyway so it's not a biggie to us, but from a business standpoint there must be better options! A4 sheet, laminate it, get some lil...

Open cafe with good looking cabinet food and delicious fish n chips. Fish was fresh and had a lovely light batter. Chips were fluffy and cooked to perfection. Had an iced mocha which had no chocolate but was ok as the coffee component was good. The berry smoothie was average. The staff were very polite, helpful and thoughtful. Offering me lemon for my fish and any request was not an issue which was refreshing. The toilet was very dirty and untidy and flush was not working. the coffee work benches were also untidy. The two staff seem to be doing a lot and a cleaner would probably be helpful for them. Lovey atmosphere due to the friendly staff and light filled caf. Would recommend and would come again if they can sort...

Once in a while I get surprised. Here is this little café in the middle of a group of shops, nothing much to speak of. I was just using the laundromat and had 30 minutes to use. The coffee (I had two), was very drinkable, it ticked all the right boxes. The home made pies (again I had two, I had to dry my clothes too), were great. Seriously, two of THE BEST pies I've had from a café. The steak was "pulled steak", no fat, nothing but meat. If your wanting 5 star luxury go elsewhere, it's a café, if you're wanting value for money and a good pie and coffee, this...
