Viet Thai Cuisine (Two Bamboo Restaurant) — Restaurant in North Island

We ordered this for takeaway and they said it would take 30 minutes. We came in 30 minutes and they said it would take another 25 minutes. We waited outside in the heat for 25 minutes and then when we went back inside to get it they said it would take another 15. They keep pushing the time back and I am literally still waiting here for my food 1 hour and 15 minutes later. We are now late checking into our holiday park after a 5 hour drive and incredibly exhausted. I should have just cancelled the order.... because even if the food is AMAZING which is unlikely, it would not make up for this.

Edit: They told us it would take even longer and we eventually just asked for a refund. We never got the food and there were about 10 other customers waiting for food that were frustrated as well. A table...

I like the restaurant because they are very clean and so lovely.had a pork spring roll which taste really good but the ground meat and the spring roll wrapper are both so chewy. The beef pho taste awful no taste at all. The pieces of beef are so pale tasteless and dry. i think they just boiled the slices of beef in hot water with no salt at all. The broth itself taste terrible.its like a boiled water with fish sauce and coriander in it. I expected an authentic vietnamese pho but all i got is dissapointment.had a good beef pho before but this one is really embarassing. Will not come back to this restaurant again...what a...

Ordered online and though it said pick up in 30 mins, the actual wait time was close to 90 mins. There were just too many orders, quite possibly due to the influx of people during the holidays - dine in, online, via phone, walk ins - the poor solo front of house staff was running off his feet, apologizing profusely to customers for the long wait times.
