The GT Tasting Room next to Gibbston Tavern was a highlight of my trip along the wine trail. My partner and I each got tasting flights of spirits and ports respectively; he walked away with a whisky and I purchased two bottles of the 10 year tawny port. There was one bottle of the tawny left, with another shipment due that afternoon. Andy was kind enough to drop off the second bottle at our hotel after closing, and Megan confirmed we had received it via email shortly thereafter. Not only are the products exceptional, but they are so good that I bought one bottle for myself and another for my father visiting from overseas to take back with him. Our group stopped here as the second place on the Bike the Wineries tour and we didn't go any further!

Great range of flights, from wines, to gins and other spirits, that catered to all of our groups interests.

The host was super knowledgeable on all flights tasted, and all staff were friendly.

Inside was cosy with the fireplace, and both outside and in had a good atmosphere. Woodfire pizzas went well for lunch after the bike ride and drinks.

Definitely recommend stopping in here on the...

We left with a bottle of gin and smiles on our faces. I can’t recall the name of the person looking after us, but she was fantastic. Highly recommend a decent length of time to stop here on your...
