4 stars for the staff and convenience. 3 stars for the food. Good for basic pies, simple sandwiches and convenient for a quick, affordable work lunch. Very basic, baked, fried foods and ordinary sandwiches. Definitely not a place to go out of your way for, especially if you're a tourist you'll be disappointed. Not many other options in the area so it will do for week day lunches during work hours for now. Wish they had more offerings like salads and protein, quiche/fritattas, soups or chili with bread rolls, or made to order specialty sandwiches/wraps/bagels, veggie toasties, smoothies, fresh fruit packs and some ready made individual microwaveable casseroles/dishes/pizza, even veggie plates with pita, dips and hummus would be nice etc. Always friendly ladies at the counter. They cater mostly to tradies and local industrial workers in the area which might explain the lack of healthier options and variety. If you want amazing NZ pies, get a Sangas pie. If you want quality lunch go to the food trucks in 3 parks or in town...
