If you're looking for a fantastic spot for comfort food, look no further than Beaver and Bear! I recently had the pleasure of trying out their menu, and I have to say, it was a great experience. The poutine was absolutely fantastic, and the cheese dip was very delicious - definitely something to share with friends or family. And the chicken burger? It was amazing! Juicy, satisfying, and definitely worth trying. The atmosphere at Beaver and Bear is cozy and comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy some good food. If you're a fan of poutine, cheese dip, and chicken burgers, then this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Overall, I would highly recommend Beaver and Bear - it's a must-try for anyone looking for delicious comfort food in a welcoming atmosphere. Don't hesitate to check it out!

Finally visited this spot I've been hearing such great things about and it did not disappoint. The photos speak for itself but we ordered, Fried Cauliflower - incredibly tasty, couldnt replicate this at home if i tried! The burgers are very flavourful- smashed patty's with a tonne of pickles (at my request) and a very generous helping of american sliced cheese! Poutine is obviously a staple here, and you're spoilt for choice from Newfie to bacon to original. Cocktails were a huge highlight- the Canadian is an excellent sweet option and the Old Fashioned is incredible- the perfect amount of sweet (maple) and bitter(s) - I had x4! Whether you're a local or you're driving through, this is a must stop destination!

This new place has a really nice atmosphere. Cocktail menu is small but they are really well done. Not many main dishes type of options, only burgers - passion fruit martini is great! I went with a group of 4 and the restaurant appeared fully booked. Drinks came fast but unfortunately our all food took over an hour to arrive which was disappointing. We were not told it would be such a wait. When the food finally did arrive it was all good and tasty. But not worth an hour wait. The staff where all lovely but seems a bit stressed and unorganised. I would come back but maybe late or early dinner not busy time.

I wish my review were better, because when going into the restaurant to eat we have always had delicious food and wonderful service.

Unfortunately this review is for the takeaway service that we received We ordered Perogies, Pickle cheese balls, a burger, fried chicken and mashed potatoes.

The wait was estimated at 40 minutes which was fine and when we went to pick up were kept waiting another 10, they were busy, also fine. But when we got home less than 6 minutes later we opened the bag hoping to enjoy a hot meal from a place we have always enjoyed only to have everything in our order room temperature at best except for the mashed potatoes which were hot but had no seasoning whatsoever

The Perogies were unpleasantly chewy tasteless, and tasted 2 days old, the fried chicken tasted powdery and mostly of flour, the pickle balls tasted like a ball of creamcheese that had been left on the bench with a mere hint of dill. The burger buns were stone cold making eating it an unpleasant experience and as previously stated the mashed potatoes were actually hot but had no seasoning. All these items together were $98 so I was very unhappy that the meal we were very much looking forward to was not edible for the most part and the only thing that was actually consumed was the burger (mostly because it was ordered by the teen in the family)

I did call to make a complaint as like I said we have enjoyed their food greatly in the past and the young lady on the phone was very apologetic and offered to have the order remade, we declined this as we were already disappointed, and did not want to go back out on a cold night night to pick up more food. She then said she would have the manager get in tough the next day, which she did.

She was also very apologetic and offered a refund and I accepted this because mistakes do happen and we can easily understand that. When the refund was sent to my account it was for 10 dollars, I was confused and contacted them to let them know and was told they were only refunding the mashed potatoes, the only component of the meal that was actually hot.

I pointed this out and was told because the food was not returned and we did not accept the offer of a remake then that was all they were willing to do, but then offered a $40 coupon for the next time we dined with them which I accepted even though we are not particularly interested in doing again after paying that much money for food we could not eat.

So as much as I would love to give the 5 star review i wanted for the dine in experience, it was completely soured by the takeaway experience we had.

I will apologize for on thing in that I told them it was less than 10 minutes drive, I was mistaken, I timed it today it took less than 5 minutes with a red light to get from...

Coming from Canada, we were super happy and excited to try this restaurant, especially for Canada day.

The food was really good. The pierogies were amazing! The special poutine was really good as well as the S'mores. The cocktails are amazing too!

The service was something else though. We had our starters and main after some waiting time, but it can happen as they were 3 other occupied tables in the restaurant. However, after finishing the main, we were the only customers left in the restaurant, the dining room was completely empty. Nobody came to see us after the main. We were waiting alone in the restaurant for at least 20min, we stopped counting. We could hear the staff in the kitchen laughing while cleaning and starting to close (it was 20h30), and they totally forgot us. After 25min, we had to go in the kitchen to ask them for the desserts menu ourselves. I never saw that in a restaurant. Until the paiement, the staff completely ignored us, but they sure were cleaning the dining room and doing dishes. They didn't really care about their customers though. For a $150 bill, it's super disappointing, we'll never...

Returned for an affodable date night. Was 100% worth it. we returned to see some happy faces on the staff! Good service and a massive improvement since our last visit. Food was great as always.

Last visit: Good and affordable food that meet my expectations. The service was very average. Dumping cutlery in the middle of the table, no thought put into when the dishes were served (Bread loaf came last not first as you would expect), lack of knowledge of the menu ( this would have saved us from ordering an extra $2 sauce that we said we wanted to try but didn't notice was already included with the meal.) The waitress could paid a little more attention to their customers body language to notice when we were ready to order rather than constantly asking. This could also be due not having enough work to do as it definitely felt like there was more staff than tables. They also have been friendlier and look like they actually wanted to be there. With so many staff I would expect the service to be top notch. Seems like some new business/employee teething, but it won't stop me returning in...
