BurgerFuel Takanini — Restaurant in Papakura

My partner and I ordered two double muscle burgers. The place was clean and tidy and the service was good

However I was a bit worried about what the burgers would be like because I have never had a good experience at this burger king.

The waitress delivered the burger to our table and it appeared to look good. But I was disappointed once again by it's taste.

When I picked up the burger and took a bite, it was literally dripping with grease, and the grease dripped all down my hand and dripped onto the table.

It was as if they had fried It in a pan of oil and It made the burger bun soggy as hell.

Seriously I hope no one orders this horrible burger but sadly I guess someone will. This is the worse burger I have ever had in my whole life.

So I got a response from the owner and OMG what a shocker! I kid you not! Those burgers were greasy, NOT juicy! There is a big difference and I have had a lot of burgers in my time and NO burger should be greasy to the point that the grease just drips down your hand and greases up the table and looks like a mush of soggy bun and meat after a couple of bites.

So NOt Sorry burger fuel. ...your response doesn't cut it!! That was 🤢🤢🤢 and I Really hope noone buys these burgers and even better than that, I hope people don't Go There to eat...

If you like burgers this is the place! I am a carnivore and my husband is a vegetarian so BurgerFuel is the perfect burger joint for us. Not only do they have vegetarian options but vegan also and they are both really tasty. It's never a problem to convince my husband to pop in for takeaways and he is a super picky eater! Always a great meal! I think they are the best burgers in New Zealand.

I have food allergies so eating out can be a worry but when I go to BurgerFuel I am never concerned because I know they go to great lengths to make 100% certain that my food is not cross contaminated and I am safe. The staff is always helpful and understanding in that regard and it's never awkward or uncomfortable trying to communicate my allergies to them.

The shop is easy to find and there is parking but sometimes it's a bit difficult to find a park since there are several food establishments in a row but if you're patient the cars come and go and you can slip into a parking space fairly quickly.

Phoned in our order tonight, told it would be 10-15mins, showed up 20mins later and still not ready, waited a good 10-15min after that. That I could forgive, I get it, you guys were slammed but the food was not good tonight. My burger was okay, but my partners was literally inedible. It’s like the bun was weeks old or something, the bottom was literally so hard it was like cardboard. So stiff it actually grazed his lip when he tried to eat it. I almost drove back to show you guys because I couldn’t believe you actually made that burger and thought it was a good idea to serve it but the price of gas to get there wasn’t worth it. Someone must have dropped the salt shaker on the Kumara fries also because I could hardly eat them they were so coated. I have come here plenty in the past and can be hit and miss but this was the absolute worse...
