The staff are amazing and kind. I had the best Thai food ever. Tried the following: 1. Dumpling- it’s freshly made, juicy, very meaty and the sauce is divine. 10/10 2. Papaya Salad- I can really tell that the ingreidents were freshly cut and the taste is amazing. If you are not a fan of spicy food, choose the not spicy option. I had the mild one and I was able to tolerate it. 3. Thai fried rice- simply delicious! 4. BBQ pork belly with rice-soooooo yum! The Chinese sausages that goes with it is really good. 5. Chicken wings- freshly cooked and crispy. To all the staff, thank you for making these heart warming dishes. Hope you continue making your dishes with so much love and dedication. ❤️

My mum regularly ate at Ma Kiin Thai Takeaway with her friends. After talking about it so much, I tried it for the first time. Ordered and ate in for lunch. Good selection in a variety of popular Thai dishes. Every dish was well presented, big sharing size, 1 plate could feed 2-3 people easily. Food came out fast and the flavors were rich and very authentic Thai. Chef Bee knows what she's doing in the kitchen. Service was very friendly and accommodating to our every need. Would recommend this place for lovers of awesome Thai food.

I was really impressed with the quality of ingredients and flavour profiles of the dishes - beautifully balanced Thai cuisine. Although I couldn’t quite taste that flame-kissed wok hei I’ve been craving and chasing across West Auckland these past weeks, there were fresh plentiful vegetables, perfectly cooked traditional noodles and light flavourful sauces. The meats were succulent and the heat levels did not leave me wanting - the hot is proper hot and I LOVE it. Absolutely delicious- will order again soon.

The staff are amazing and kind. I had the best Thai food ever. I tend to be sceptical about trying small takeaway places, but I thought I'd give it a go based on the other reviews. SO GLAD I DID!! I went with the staple Pad Thai with a side of curry puffs. The food taste great and the portion was great value! The staff at Makinn Thai were really friendly and you could tell they genuinely love what they are doing. I was greeted with a smile and they were very appreciative :)

The only bad thing about this is that it's so close to home and fear for my waistline HA! I will definitely be back to try some of their other dishes and I really recommend this...

Absolutely the Best Thai Food in Auckland!

We’ve tried many Thai restaurants over the years, and this one is by far the best. The food is consistently delicious, fresh, and full of authentic flavour — it truly feels like a taste of Thailand. It’s our absolute favourite spot, and even our kids love it (which says a lot!).

What makes it even more special are the owners, such lovely, genuine people who always make us feel welcome. You can tell they put their heart into everything they do. We always look forward to coming back. Highly...
