Lynfield Shopping Centre — Local services in Puketāpapa

Had a bad experience with one of the workers, the shop has everything I needed which is great but the man at the self checkout was very rude to me and my husband, by the way he wears glasses but looks abit old like nearly 40 maybe, anyways we paid for our shopping but the machine couldn’t weigh one of the gift cards we bought and then asked for assistance so I raised my hand and waited but he wasn’t around that time , my husband decided that we should move to the next machine because we were in a rush, as we started scanning he then showed up I saw him walking around the area but then he must have seen the machine been used but no one was there, then he asked me and I politely told him that we moved to the next machine because it couldn’t weigh one of the gift cards but because he wasn’t around we cant wait that long and then he responded back in a very disrespectful way, like he was telling me off not to do it again and that I should raise my hand up but he wasn’t there🤦🏻‍♀️ anyways move on after scanning the groceries we were packing it up in the shopping bag but the machine accidentally scanned one of the groceries which we didn’t mind because we paid for it and then we left, while we were walking outside the same man knocked on the window from inside asking us to come back inside but what’s funny was that he didn’t say anything but used his finger and pointing to the machine from inside the window which is very ridiculous and rude🤦🏻‍♀️ we went inside and then we told him that the machine accidentally scanned one of our groceries and then he said “great” while he was serving a customer. What a rude and poor customer service, please treat people with respect because we want the same...

This was just a quick drop in at countdown. Kind of familiarizing ourselves in a new area. I don't know, no one around here, kinda borderline central to west Auckland, has what I'm looking for and that's on a good day!!!
