Middle Eastern Morning — Restaurant in Puketāpapa

We booked a table for 12:30, when we arrived, there were no tables available and were told to wait 15mins, after waiting 30mins, we were told our table will be ready in 10 minutes, we had a look inside and all the tables were full and all of them were still waiting for their food, we had given our orders while waiting outside, and when asked they said our food is being prepared whilst we had no table and the people inside were still waiting for theirs. The place needs some good training in how to manage bookings and get food out on time. The staff looked like headless chickens running around clueless. Another group experienced the same thing and left so we also got annoyed after 30mins of waiting and left also people inside looked frustrated waiting for their food. I'm sure the food tastes good but we didn't get the chance to experience it. For the very poor service you guys...

I visited Middle Eastern Morning, Halal Cafe with my family and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and cleanliness of the cafe and cutlery was spotless. Timing couldn't have been better as we managed to beat the rush, resulting in lightning-fast service. Our order was a mix of their specialties, Golden Smoothie, Pistachio Smoothie, Harra Fries, Zucchini fritters, Moroccan lamb cigar, black coffee and a fluffy. Everything was delicious and flavourful; the best part was that both Smoothies were dairy free! My favorite was the Zucchini fritters paired with the Pistachio Smoothie. Overall, the quality of the food surpassed our expectations, and the prices were definitely worth it. We will definitely come back here to explore more of their enticing menu and recommend it to anyone looking for delicious Halal Middle...

My favourite place for breakfast and brunch! Took my youngest son today for breakfast, we ordered Lamb Shakshuka and Zucchini Fritters. We also had two complementary hot chocolate from the lovely owner. Thank You! (this is exactly how we treat our lovely customers at our shop)

It is my fourth time here, a warm welcome from lovely staff as usual. Food was always amazing, generous portions and very well presented. We tried almost everything on the menu. Lamb Shakshuka and Arabian Scramble were our favourites! We have also tried the Eggs on Toast, Moroccan Lamb Cigar, Cilbir Egg and Moroccan Chicken Salad.

It's nice to support another small family business. If you haven't try it, please do visit them. We would definitely come back...
