Helensville Bakery — Restaurant in Rodney

Stopped in for a pie, grabbed a steak and kidney. Jumped in the car and took one bite and new I'd made a bad decision. Pretty sure it's been in the warmer for a couple of days. Hard and starting to taste burnt, the insides was basically a brown jelly that was so over cooked or old it hard started to go hard on the outside edge. A couple of bits of steak and kidney and that was it. It actually smelt a bit strange but it cost me $6.20 and I didn't want to throw it out the window. Spend your money elsewhere, it might be in line for a worst pie...
