The Red Door Cafe — Restaurant in Rodney

Service was rude and unproffessional. Lady taking our order at the counter snapped her response aggressively at me when I asked for fries (which they didn't serve). When the food was delivered to the table by the same counter lady was serving me. She held it in front of my face in the air and stood their expecting me to take it from her. The girl serving my mum was the complete opposite. She placed the food on the table correctly and was polite and friendly. I got her co-worker who seemed to take an immediate dislike to me which was reflected by her bad attitude and terrible service. I have a Silver Service Certificate and I have never heard of waiting staff holding plates in front of customers faces with a sour expression on their face, expecting them to grab the food and place it on the table themselves. Its super hot and The Cafe , situated on the main street, makes delicious iced coffee , and great tasting hot voffee, ive had both and while I'm here , until we go into the next phase, regarding lockdown stages, i pretty much pop in for something from here, be it from the smoothie section, or taking in a breakfast , i enjoy it here, they are friendly and they are Locals, this i will always support . Red Door Café is fantastic! I’m especially impressed by their range of paninis, which offer great value for the price. Each one looks delicious. Their coffees are consistently good and flavorful.
