It was our first time visiting The Portage Bar. We caught the Riverhead Ferry from Auckland CBD - Westhaven Marina on the wettest day. The bartender/waiter was amazing (I didn't catch her name, but she had short hair, with blue in it, if my memory serves me correctly). she was very friendly and helpful. She went out of her way to find me some gloves so I could enjoy the ribs 😊 and even brought us some bowls of water to wash our fingers. The food was hot and delicious. The portions were more than enough. Short waiting time for food to be served. The bar's atmosphere was pleasant and cosy. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely plan to back again.
