The sun was beaming in at Alto this morning. The place was beautifully presented and a soft smell of coffee in the air. I was pleased to find a fantastic breakfast menu, really helpful staff and enough space not to be involved in another tables conversations. The kids menu is pretty standard but to be fair it was a winner and the $5 kids meal on a Sunday was a smart way of getting me in the door (as a mum). I had the most forfilling creamy mushrooms on flavourful ciabatta with streaky bacon to tie for! My coffee was as superb as the service. The cabinet food was a great range of sweet and savoury and any place who sells a stuffed spud has my tick. Well done Alto. Pat your staff on the back.

Had dinner at Alto Cafe. The cafe has a nice atmosphere and the service was friendly and fast. We enjoyed a platter, a salad and desert. It was all delicious and enjoyable. The location has plenty of parking around its location, which makes access easy. I recommend Alto Cafe if you looking to enjoy a pleasant evening out and an enjoyable meal.

Got the creamy mushrooms (top, $21.50) and the big breakfast (bottom, $24.50). Super delicious meals everything spot on. Also was fairly quick to be made which was awesome Only comment is cooked tomato's would have been nice but understandable leaving them out when not in season or expensive. Would definitely come to this place again.

Lovely place to eat. The food was good and very kind staff. I ordered the mushroom alto stack and got the bacon one delivered by accident, but it didn't matter as it was still devoured! I will be coming back for those hash browns, no doubt. The only suggestions I would have is to ask how a customer likes their eggs to be poached. I like my poached eggs to be runny, but today's was a bit overdone just for my liking... but that is not a criticism as it was still delicious. The other thing is perhaps switching the number of croquets from 2 to 1 with the beef cheeks. The blue cheese overpowered the taste and the mushroom added to the dish were lighter 👌 All in all, really enjoyed it here and will definitely be coming back. I need a hash brown...

Went here on a whim and I am absolutely speechless. Despite the plain aesthetic I couldn’t ask for more quality in my coffee. I believe the barista was called josh but he was accepting of my hungover state and supplemented this acceptance with charm and genuine interest in my daily life. But don’t be so hasty to think he was compensating for his lack of skill because the finesse he put into his coffee shot and velvety milk left me speechless! And the latte art - oh my goodness! A beautiful swan provided my visual system with a smorgasbord of beauty. I am sure that I speak for everyone when I say that josh (if not already) deserves to be given somewhat of a management position. Well done alto;...
