I normally do not entertain myself with a harsh criticism for anyone who attempts to serve Indian snack items to the public. But I need to excuse myself this one time, this year. Note well: This review is only directed to the quality of the food and does not reflect on the ambience or service provided in this restaurant.
I had the absolute MISFORTUNE of visiting this place. I ordered the vegetarian platter for an overpriced amount of 20 bucks. The food soaked the paper bag with oil and was tasteless. There was an abuse of turmeric and salt in the samosas, and the so-called 'paneer' tikkis had no hint of paneer in them. On a side note for the side dish, the mint chutney provided on the side smelled like toothpaste while being served in a Listerine sized cup - apt for a mouth wash but without the cleansing. The red/tamarind chutney was watered down (like the drink I desperately need to wash this food down).
My apologies, Chilli Dhaba but my new year resolution will include abstaining from...
Read moreWe were not planning on eating out for lunch, but the smell drew us in. We were not disappointed. based on the prices we thought we needed to order more food. that was a mistake. the portions were generous and delicious. Our choice was to order a selection of starters to share. The lamb was so packed with flavour we argued over who would eat the last piece, even though it was large enough to cut in 2 and share it. I am always skeptical ordering prawns, but I was pleasantly surprised. perfectly cooked and flavour generous. so juicy and moreish. the paneer came with a yoghurt sauce that went with all the dishes and the samosa's were packed with yum. I cannot believe I haven't been here before. With great service from smiling staff, and flavour packed delicious food, we...

Upon opening the containers, the aromas intensified and we were greeted with curries filled with whole curry leaves, black mustard seeds, coriander and generous portions of chicken and prawns. The flavours were incredible.
The garlic naan had a very generous sprinkling of garlic. We also ordered the cauliflower and broccoli ‘rices’. The cauliflower rice was delicious, but if I was to knock one thing it was the broccoli rice having a slightly bitter taste to it.
Not enough to tarnish the experience. Amazing food,...
