Jun's Kitchen — Restaurant in South Island

Great, fresh food, great prices, great service. This was my first time here but I will be returning. This blew the sushi joints I’m used to out of the water. I had the spicy chicken on rice.

The entrance is outside the mall/supermarket area, next to antidote. There’s a sign that looks like it’s directing you to an entrance inside the mall, which is confusing, but the door is tucked in the left hand corner of their shop front.

I think this entrance should be made clearer, perhaps without an arrow so the sign just says “entrance here” or something. Once you make it inside, it’s clean and welcoming. The server was nice...

Love the food here, very relaxing with great service too, the owner is always polite and shows dedication in his work, I will keep coming back for the Salmon and vege sushi because I'm Pescaterian. The sushi here is better then most sushi shops I've been too, it's affordable but most importantly fresh, delicious and filling. One thing I look forward too is seeing more items on the menu especially that Tuna sushi, I rate this 10/10! Will keep coming till I finish University and leave a huge tip! Great work...

Probably our worst experience with fast food in New Zealand. Well, except for one older lady in Gore who served green curry with potatoes. The staff put in minimal effort, but that wouldn’t matter if the food was at least somewhat decent. We ordered teriyaki and spicy chicken. The very bland and, most importantly, dry meat suggested that freshness is not something they care about here. The 4.6 rating of the place is completely off. Embarrassing—Japanese people...
