So I usually love this place, I have now changed my rating to 1 star instead of 5, I have just had an awful experience, I literally made a mistake as I had bought quite a few items and DID NOT realize that my little girl had actually grabbed some of the bags of food I paid for and I made a mistake and went to grab someone else's items, THINKING they were mine NOT realizing the whole time they weren't, some of the customers looked at me like I was trying to steal there food :( like seriously why would I... Your staff also acted as if I was stealing... Bro I DON'T NEED TO STEAL FOOD.. it was just on lunchtime and it was super busy so my complaint is please DON'T MAKE ASSUMPTIONS. I am an upright person and would NEVER try steal from anybody.. it was an honest MISTAKE. so in future please treat customers kindly.. I don't think I will be back to your shop...

Perfect bakery, bubbly staff, made the visit perfect. Delicious selection of pies, my steak, mushroom and bacon pie was fantastic. Was too slow to get a cheese scone, they'd sold out. Was tempted for something sweet so tried an Afghan biscuit. Amazing dark icing under the wallnut with a beautiful biscuit. Also ordered a hot chocolate that lasted all the way to Balclutha. Top marks team, won't be a regular as the commute is quite long but will make a point of dropping in next...

What a pie! It was HUGE. We drove from dunedin to invercargill and needed somewhere to stop for lunch. Tha cabinet looked incredible. Hubby got 2 pies & a filled roll & said the pies were some of the best he has ever eaten!!! Next time we are down this way we will stop for sure. 100%...
