Amazing café, I would probably say the best café I have ever been to out of anywhere across my time in Australia and New Zealand.

I will definitely be back! I had the chicken salad, tried the seafood chowder and it’s the piece of carrot cake that really made me feel like I had to leave a review explaining how good everything is, customer service is great very short and sweet but welcoming, the atmosphere is beautiful very homey, artsy and quirky but super clean and tidy.

I will definitely be back, with family and friends!

I ordered the chicken and bacon salad , I could have made a better one at home ….. it was $18 and all it had was iceberg lettuce chopped up , grated carrots , rings of red onion … and get this…… a heavily processed crumbed chicken tender all chopped up , probably even like half a chicken tender if I’m honest. And they forgot to add the bacon so that came out on a seperate plate. And yup that was it….. no frills whatsoever. Great Cafe, great food, coffee and other drinks etc. and cosy,maybe a little small inside but all that's generally required and if the weather is good, plenty of outside seating. Has become one of the favourites for the locals in Opunake. Nice and friendly with a very good food selection, nice easy to get to location at the northern end of the shopping street with the food market shops, book and other shops nice and close with plenty of parking spaces.
