I was first introduced to Town Takeaways by my partner and his family, who have been loyal customers of Rup for years. Since then, I’ve happily made the 40-minute trip many times just to enjoy this incredible curry!

The favourite in our household is the butter chicken. It’s always cooked with care and precision, delivering that authentic Indian flavour that hits every single time, and it’s not just the curry that stands out. The dessert menu is fantastic too, I can’t recommend the chocolate naan enough.

Rup’s customer service is second to none. He is consistently welcoming, attentive, and goes above and beyond to ensure his customers have the best possible experience. The restaurant environment itself is always clean, tidy, and inviting, which further adds to the overall enjoyment.

What can I say about this restaurant! Everything!😍😍😍😍 I am a foodie and I love food! I was not at all a fan for butter chicken because of previous experience with butter chicken😰 but this tiny lil restaurant made me love butter chicken the flavours dance on your tounge as you savour the rice beautifully. the staff are amazing wonderful atmosphere to where they make you feel welcomed! Medium butter chicken with garlic naan was the meal for us and there were some real positives, the spice is a great balance to the heat, the sauce is thick and the Naan is charred nicely with plenty of garlic but.... the whole thing falls over with the chicken that just hasn't been marinated correctly, just hard lumps of dry chicken ruined it unfortunately.
