Soho Family Vineyards is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is chill and relaxed, making it the perfect spot to unwind with great wine and views. The highlight of our visit was the amazing hostess/sommelier, a member of the Dunleavy family—the original owners and operators of the nearby Te Motu winery. Loved our visit to Soho wines and will definitely be back! The venue had only opened two weeks prior to our visit so lots still to be done with landscaping etc, but it will be amazing in a few months time. The atmosphere is really casual and relaxed, staff were very welcoming and I enjoyed the the fact that they came through with each tasting and give you a little bit of info on the wine. The wines itself are very nice! We’ve tasted Soho Peggy and Soho Harry before, so very pleased there is now an actual venue for the wines. Lots of doggos there which is a bonus for us. Wine was fabulous and worth every cent. Food however, not so much. We were undecided what to have so just went for a bowl of fries until we decided. $16 for less than a what we would have got from Maccas with a tiny cardboard container of sauce which had little taste. So overpriced and underwhelming, we decided that the rest of the food would be likely the same so headed for somewhere else for our main meal.
