DON'T EAT THE CHICKEN!!!!!! 1 Child had lemon flavoured fried chicken and the other child had rotten milk flavoured chicken. We took it back and told him. He called us liars. Coerced another customer to assault me by handing him a free chicken. Customer pushed me. I told him not to touch me. He then hit my hand, I told him not to touch me and then I called the cops. Both Pakeha cops told me its just chicken. I said 'NO! It's $24, I'd like half a refund or replaced fresh chicken'. White cops trespassed me for that request.

On top of that, EVERYTHING IS OVERPRICED!

Had a steady stream of people come in when we were there. Always keen to support local business in the towns along the way. I ordered Eggs Benedict which was pleasant enough with a whole lot of hollandaise sauce. You can parallel park outside however parking can get quite full so the next option is around the back. Stopped here on our way through Putaruru. Road side parking (when you can get one) and easy street access to shop. Good selection of food and well presented in their cabinets. Area around food looked clean but the seating area could do with an upgrade. Staff were friendly and service of cooked food and hot drinks was prompt. I enjoyed my caramel latte.
