Will not be returning. First time here and not only was there visible dirt on tables/chairs but it had alot of tables crammed in not allowing much space to walk through each one. This also meant noise level was high with anyone who was talking being so close. Ordered seasoned wedges with cheese and bacon on, received salty wedges of which some weren't cook fully, the cheese was horrible tasting and compared to the bacon others had, I'm yet to 100% work out what was on mine. Did not taste like bacon, was almost like deep fried chopped ham steak. Meal was not enjoyable at all, didn't eat most of it. The dirt on tables/chairs was noticed after already ordering and the worst part was to go with the bottled coke we ordered they gave 2 glass cups for use of we chose to. There was lipstick still on the cup from what I assume is the last person who used the cup. Will not...

My partner and I were heading back home from Hamilton and was looking for a good kai to feed our hungry puku in Tokoroa and came across this place.

We were definitely not disappointed. Service was 10+ stars and the food was 20+ stars. Our puku was well feed with well seasoned, fresh and delicious kai. Always support local cafe's 🫶

We ordered Bacon Eggs Bene, Seafood Plate(to share) and Mince on toast, with a delicious Latte and x2 coke zero in the old school glass bottles.

Was driving from Auckland down to Taupo, so needed somewhere for a pit stop in between. Was greeted by friendly staff upon entering and handed menus. There is some seating in the front and more seating at the back, so do check if the front looks busy. The menu has a good range of options, I was able to find some thing for everyone in my family.
