This isn't a caravan holiday park.its a residential area.no one is supposed to live there beyond 3weeks.yet despite laws prohibiting the housing of permanent housing, this outfit is sidestepping council laws without paying residential rates of each dwelling abode and declare it as a 'Holiday Park'which is a blatant lie.its a residential area and should be closed down.the guy "Allen" who runs it also runs another place in Mangere like it in Auckland..it's a profit driven monopoly on a grand scale..people get attacked by strangers in their own huts and caravans.stuff is constantly been stolen if you turn your back.there is no security fencing around it.they employ foul mouthed islander people to run the place, had immigration clean out 20 people for extradition who they employed as "Security and workers "awhile back. And they prey on the poor by charging high rents, some of the houses at nearly $400 a week?most of the caravans are unfit for use and we're brought down from there Mangere site when the council up there condemned them?disgusting outfit.some pink haired islander lady who claims to be 'The Manager 'tried to attack my lady friend in our car because she asked her to keep her corgi dog away from our car because it might get run over.foul mouthed beast could hardly speak English. .could do with another visit from immigration to purge it out again.IRD should audit the dump.its a tacky scam run by...
Read moreHello guys! Don't stay here! From my personal experience in 2019. Reasons: No bonds back There is a high chance for you not to get the 150NZ dollars bond back. I have proof of paying every single weekly rent, but still the Manager Mele( a cousin of the owner) didn't give my bond back. Poor management Mele said i didn't pay my rent on time, yes, that's true, but she closed her office door even in her working hour! Tell me, how can i pay the rent on time? She said some words with hindsight which i didn't appreciate at all. This accomodation is combined with a local tree nursery company, called Arborgen NZ unlimited.Working in Arborgen is fine, however please don't live in the accommodation. The company will not force you to stay there. TV 24 hours on even during night After a whole day's work, we were supposed to relax. However, there was an elder guy lives in the livingroom for some reasons, and he didn't turn the TV off, though he didn't watch it. Unexpected visitors Sometimes, the cousins of the owner will visit, they are not bad people but they did make the whole place in chaos. Once i remembered there were 4 or 5 children living there for 2 weeks and so did their parents. So annoying.
Above all, dont stay there. You can find a proper accomodation around the...
Read moreThis is a rundown facility that is used mainly to house social welfare beneficiaries. The Tent sites we were first offered had no shade , we were then offered the only shady spot which we took but later realised was polluted with dog waste. Speaking of animals this campground was a veritable menagerie. Roaming dogs, cats and kittens of questionable health, ducks, peafowl...all adding to the litter and noise. There was no fridge or hot water jug in the kitchen. There was a microwave as the only source of hot drinking water. A chair in the kitchen area had blood splattered on it that was not cleaned during our 2 night stay. The price on the noticeboard was $10 per person per night. The office attendant tried to charge us $20 per night but later reneged. The people at the camp were friendly but this was no campground for families with young children or tourists who wanted to see an attractive NZ. We had just come from Awakeri campground which was so much nicer with free access to hot pools in the $18 price. For $10 this campground was tolerable for adults but it is not...
