Horrible food, friendly service and a great, lively atmosphere.

Anyone who rates this place has not touched good food with a ten km pole. Most of the food is frozen or store bought.

Dan Dan Noodles with pork for $30 gets you store bought frozen udon and a little minced pork. Probably costs $2 to make if I’m being generous. The sauce lacks any heart or flavor.

The Crispy Chicken batter is pretty good but the meat is dry and hard to find.

The Kids menu is hilarious. For the Udon they give you the same frozen udon as the Dan Dan noodles with store bought sesame sauce and charge $13. The Gohan Furikake is just rice with a tiny amount of store bought Korean sprinkled seaweed for $8.

The Kingfish dish is only a few pieces that are utterly drenched in an overpowering, basic sauce.

Props to Ulo’s for being so popular despite selling this kind of food at such exorbitant prices, but it would be nice if they took some pride in their dishes rather than continuing to rip off clueless bogans.

The food is quite good and I like the design vibe. There isn't really much other good food to eat in raglan, hence this place is so busy. I am writing this review because the service is just terrible. You turn up and there is a lot of staff but no one acknowledges your presence. This happened to my partner also, and when they do, they are just quite rude. Also the phone just rings and rings, no one answers, I think an automated message would be appropriate if you no longer take phone calls. Quirky cool and casual restaurant with a mainly asian theme. Gets really busy, and even with the crowds the service is still good. Funky older DJ spinning great tunes from vinyl, retro chilled vibes. Food was pretty good, but nothing to rave about. Fried chicken was best dish we had, but salad also rated highly. Wife rabed about the lychee based cocktails, and I agree from the sip I had. We'd definitely visit again as the place has a nice feel, good service and decent food & drink. Just don't go expecting the best asian fusion of your life and you'll have...
