Joined a line at the counter. The person in front of me was served and moved away, I moved forward to the counter and stood there waiting while the chap serving spent time texting. He took my order and I sat down at a table. I had ordered a chicken and mushroom pie and salad, plus a tea. We had lunch at Colubus Kapiti today. I had beef chilli Nachos, the wife had Eggs benedict with salmon. I always thought i made some pretty mean nachos, but i was schooled today! The nachos looked and tasted amazing! Worth every cent of the $19 price tag. Also gave me some fresh inspiration for my home made nachos! The wifes eggs benne also presented well with lashings of Hollandaise. We've been here quite a few times before, but today's food was next level. The worst breakfast I had in years, honestly, please read the reviews and act on them instead of replying thinking your making it right, nothing has changed and your food quality and quantity hasn’t changed .. if you did act on them, you’ll get better reviews.
