Pizza Hut Kapiti — Restaurant in Wellington

On the 1st of October, my daughter ordered pizzas from Pizza Hut in Kapiti Road for a group of friends. The Pizzas were delivered late. Pizzas were cold. Some of the pizzas were completely inedible, the pizza base dough had floury little ball things in it and all over it. The pizzas weren't cut properly, one pizza not cut at all. But the worst thing is that when the Girls called to explain and ask for replacement pizza or a refund. Guy on the phone who identified himself as the manager, refused any kind of remedy, he laughed at the girls, put them on hold, hung up on them, and accused them of lying. While it's normal to make the occasional mistake, it's completely abnormal to mess an order up, then follow it up with laughing and belittling customers who have a legitimate complaint. This type behavior is unacceptable and has been called out for customers to see. We followed this up with Head office Pizza Hutt - who after a week, haven’t responded to...

You can't pull the "short staffed" excuse... Customer service was the worst... ordered online before hello even came out my mouth the server walked away then when he returned asked what I wanted gave the order name several times for him just to say it back incorrectly my names not hard...put it into eftpos and went to walk away to which I had to apologise and say I had cash just to get a eye roll back then had to wait 20minutes to find out it was ready in their warmer the whole time no apology given...I didn't realize I had to ask you to do your job...and your response shouldn't be I'm busy when you get questioned about it.. .if your going to give half hearted excuses for NOT doing your job maybe think about who your trying to fool because most people have worked in hospo...if you don't like your job go get a different...

Had done an order online last night at 9:15 my order said 10pm it would be here 😊10:15 had come and still no pizza😏 because they close at 10pm 🥴but yet my order had still gone through. 10:30 had come still no pizza so by now I'm mad 😡because I have hungry kids we ring pizza hut and we get the answering machine leave a message😔and in the end we had to ring Dominoes and was cutting it fine there because they close at 11pm but was greeted by a young man who was absolutely amazing on the other end🥴after they heard what had happened they kindly took my husband's order and delivered it without a fuss and said the order would be on them. I was absolutely in tears because I wanted to pay for it even though it would leave me out pocket but he absolutely reassured me it was already paid for and to have a good night..
