Chickenza — Restaurant in Giginyu

The place is nice in terms of location and atmosphere if not of the barracks of mosquitoes in the place i would be spending my time there everyday! Not because of the food but the settings!

Their food is a lil bit over priced! Stay away from their french fries because a kafirinsa zasu baka shi!

I was shocked when i heard common alokozy with hot water and lil suger is ₦700! Fish ₦4,000 among others!

Overall i love the place if not the Malaria i got from the place i will be typing from there and when i fully recovered i will visit again! They also show live football matches!

I honestly think they can do more because in summary everything about this place is just basic and moderate, I'm yet to get that wow experience. But a few of their staff are really up and doing. The atmosphere is quite relaxing though since it's an outdoor kind of setting, but there are some part of the place that gives a sort of offensive odour, I hope the management looks into it.

I ordered for samosa during my last visit and I was served a cold one that has obviously been kept for long😥 I had to compensate my dissatisfaction with their lovely ginger drink which I'm recommending if you happen to visit, it is...

This place i love for their 'Chickenza Special)😋😋😋 It has a roasted,grilled and baked chicken feel🤣😋😋😋☺

They also have a range of other snacks and drinks.....samoza, spring roll, shawarma etc. Locally made drinks like ginger/zobo/tamarind drinks are sold there as well.

I am giving them a 4star because they recently renovated the facility....bringing back the life it once had. The water fountain now runs and the traditional setting has once again been restored.

One can now enjoy a seat out under a hut or not, enjoy the fresh cool breeze and the tasty confectioneries served!
