Gusto Restaurant — Restaurant in Giginyu

As my in-law said, “if not for the waiters who are black, you would think you are in the abroad”.

Ambience means a lot to me when I go out to eat so I think whoever designed @gusto_resto deserves some accolades. The decor and lighting are an absolute delight for photo lovers especially. Also, all you have to do is scan the QR code on your phone to see the menu. This is actually the first time I am seeing this, not even in Abuja.

My friend and I had the Teriyaki Chicken Salad which was very well seasoned and filling while my other friend had a Japanese meal. I think their drink prices are actually very cheap as you would see from the bill when you swipe.

Loads of foreigners visit this place apparently and it’s great for everyone including kids. Three of us spent a total of 12k plus and it’s totally worth it. The only snag we had was the waiters coming to ask us if we were ready almost every 2 minutes. We were like dude! There is so much from the menu!

Very cozy atmosphere, the food is excellent and very hygienic and the staff are amazing. Apart from the normal menu, they also have kids’ menu and there’s a play ground for the kids with enough parking space. The prices are relatively high but on my personal experience, I can say the services rendered and the food really worth the costs. By the way, there is 20% discount on orders during their "Happy Hour 1-6pm" every day.

One thing that everyone must know before visiting is that they have a policy that a customer or group of customers ordering at a time in same table MUST make an order of at least N3,000 or else you leave. It happened to a customer right next to my table and my attention was all there during their conversation with the waiter. I was so observant and the customer had to leave without ordering/eating. However, the waiter was so professional in responding to the customer, he has done his homework well.

Lastly, I would suggest to the management to hang fly-papers or fly-machines or anything they think could work to reduce the flying flies please, most...

I visited Gusto on someone's recommendation to experience excellent service.

Being a customer service trainer and coach, I like to visit places and observe and learn from the services they deliver.

A lady received us at the entrance, and it was a simple warm welcome. She gave us an option to sit indoors or outdoors; we picked inside.

I am a vegetarian, there were not much options for me, so I settled for a watermelon drink. And it was not the best because a day before I had taken same drink which was much better.

Price was double of what I had taken earlier.

Will request management to include some vegetarian dishes, and improve the quality of drinks so that when the time I visit, I modify my reviews.
