Tiffany Amber Cafe — Restaurant in Lagos Island

Unfortunately didn't have a good experience here, despite the beautiful aesthetics of the place. My partner ordered a piece of cake that was priced on the menu for 6k (no physical menu just a QR code digital menu) when the cake was brought out the waiter said that actually the cake is 16k and did not tell us at the time of ordering about the error on the menu. (Never seen such an expensive piece of cake anywhere in the world). I said to the Waiter since you've already brought it to us without explaining the price can you just honour the 6k price as advertised on the menu? If you can do that then we would be happy to come back again for lunch etc and spend even more than just coffees and cakes. The waiter said no and I asked to talk to the manager they weren't around. Due to this misleading menu and the expensive cost of cake; my partner said he would take pancakes instead for 14k and the waiter took back the cake. The pancakes were not good at all and the croissant I had wasn't fresh. The coffee was okay. Later the manager arrived and eventually apologised but did nothing to rectify the situation or make us want to come back. Won't be going there again. Also the place is hard to find...

The ambience was lovely, but the food presentation was lacking - it seemed like no effort was put into making the dishes visually appealing. I ordered the Caribbean oxtail and rice, which was a letdown. The oxtail was just okay, but the rice was surprisingly tasteless. However, my cocktail was a highlight beautifully presented and delicious. The customer service was also top-notch, friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the subpar food has me questioning whether I'll return, despite the nice atmosphere. Maybe they'll step up their culinary game...

Your grounds are superb, resplendent. It's like a hideaway from everything else that's going on in the world.

Your menu needs help. I expect to be greeted with glasses of Prosecco and those soft cucumber sandwiches they serve at Art openings, charcuterie plates, etc. But you had none of this at your place.
