Ile éros - a must visit. I’d tell you why in this review.
This restaurant isn’t your regular restaurant, it’s the feel of gourmet food with Nigerian infusion. The creativity, technique & aesthetic is pretty unique. (Price against all these? Unmatched!) I could tell with every of my order the chefs culinary experience has gone beyond borders. REVIEW
Plantain lasagne I thought this was a combination of sweet & savory flavors, had seasoned minced beef, a layer of plantain topped with Parmesan cheese & plantain chips. Served with garlic bread.
This was crunchy because it was fried rather than baked. It was crunchy on the out & tender on the inside rather than an overall tender texture.
I also thought the portion was really small. So if you’re a heavy eater or severely hungry? You may want to order this with a side. Seafood pasta. I’m sure y’all would wonder - pasta again? But yeah! Pasta again! 🤤 This seafood pasta was creamy, cheesy & tasty. It had calamari & prawns. What did it for me was the ability to balance out all the ingredients. None overshadowed the other. I thought the presentation of this pasta could have been better because I didn’t think it would taste as good based off its presentation. Spicy steak & plantain skewers I kid you not! When this was served? I didn’t think that was it. Because again? Portion was small, literally had like 3 pieces of meat on it 🤷🏾♀️ but on the flip side? It tasted good. So Yh maybe I forgot about it’s portion after I tasted it. Drinks
The jumping jack was an absolute fave! Mixed to perfection. Again, if you get here hungry? Bear in mind wait time is mad long! The waiter was knowledgeable about the menu - I liked that.
My highlight coming here has to be the food. It’s really good. Technique is really on steroids here.
I’d definitely come back here! What? I’m trying everything on...
Read moreThis place is awesome .The menu boasts a carefully curated selection of both local and international dishes, each crafted with a creative touch that elevates familiar flavors to new heights. The seared scallops appetizer, delicately balanced with a citrus-infused dressing, tantalizes the taste buds with its harmonious blend of textures and tastes, setting the tone for a remarkable gastronomic journey.
The main course offerings do not disappoint either. The tenderloin steak, cooked to perfection and served with a delectable red wine reduction, exemplifies the chef's mastery of flavors and presentation. Complemented by a side of truffle mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables, every bite is a testament to the restaurant's commitment to culinary excellence.
The dessert selection, a symphony of indulgence, offers a perfect conclusion to the meal. The chocolate lava cake, oozing with a rich, velvety center, serves as a decadent finale that leaves a lasting impression on the palate.

Read moreI just went there for drinks, when I asked for their options for drinks, they kept emphasizing they were a restaurant and that they don't serve only drinks. Luckily for me, I went with a friend who happens to be a regular and I was able to get the drink sample option that was on their menu. Oddly enough, They didn't have a full menu in hard copy and the QR code to their full menu list doesn't work (I'm posting it along with this comment, maybe it's working now).
Nice cocktails, I particularly enjoyed the one with the zobo flavouring (useful tip: if you just want drinks at a reasonable price, order for their sample drinks, they usually offer 5 glasses of 5 differ flavours of cocktail for ₦5,000. Thank me later). I spent the evening in their outdoor sit-out, (cool 😌 environment by the way) with a table sized Ayo game (I enjoyed playing the game). It's a really small restaurant with a good use of space.
What I particularly found disturbing was the bed bugs I found on one of their chairs (I found two bed bugs) it's the reason I stayed outside. I complained to the attendants (who were nice by the way) and they apologized and advised I switched sits (I know, there was nothing much they could do, they were just employees).
It's a nice environment (kind of expensive), lovely drinks, I enjoyed playing Ayo. An African themed restaurant, I just wish there were no bugs on the...
