I recently had the pleasure of staying at the exquisite Albergo Hotel, and I must say, my experience was nothing short of exceptional. Albergo Hotel and Suites is one of the best hotels I've ever visited. It is located in a beautiful nice Lekki location in Lagos Island. It is located where there are other hotels, shopping complex like Ebeano Supermarket and more. The building looks unique with nice parking spaces. It has a pool that lit with music at rhe right tines accessible to lodged customers.

Reception: The hotel has amazing staff to welcome you and attend to your needs. At the reception lounge there are books like "Guiness Books of Record" and other unique books on the table. The ambience is so amazing with some artworks adorning the place.

Security: The hotel has an elevator with a key only Cvess. This means that only customers who lodged in can access the elevator to go upstairs. This makes for more security, flat means that any radom person can not go up where customers are lodged except he is being given access by thr staff.

Internet; Each customer who lodges in is being given a unique Internet password to access the free WiFi for TV, Netflix, phones, laptops etc.

Unique Library: Albergo Hotel is the only hotel I have visited or heard that has a library available for lodgers. This really caught my attention and it is so hbique.

Rooms: The rooms are spacious, spacious and confy beds. The rooms also has chairs, tables well set. A customer can entertain a guest in a discussion over his table and chairs. Thr hotel is equipped with nice sets of tech and gadgets. The walkway that lead into the rooms is adorned with art and an amazing ambience. Yhere are also room service for different customer needs.

Generally, it is a great hotel. As at the time of writing this, (2024) the room rates statys from N75,000 upwards. It is a place I will recommend for anyone seeking...

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Albergo Hotel in Lagos, Nigeria, during my stay from February 4th. I initially informed the staff that I planned to extend my stay and repeatedly asked the receptionists—both morning and evening shifts—about availability. Each time, I was told to “check back later.” Despite my proactive efforts, no one gave me a clear answer until the third day at 12 PM, when I was abruptly told I had to leave my room and move to a smaller one.

This last-minute notice was extremely inconvenient, as I had meetings scheduled all day. I expressed my frustration and explained that I had no issue moving but needed to be informed with reasonable notice. Despite this, they showed no regard for the disruption caused to my plans.

When I requested a small 10% discount as compensation for the canceled appointments caused by their lack of communication, the manager rudely dismissed my concerns, stating it was “not his responsibility.” This wasn’t about the money—it was about the lack of professionalism and accountability.

To make matters worse, there were numerous maintenance issues during my stay. The water problem persisted despite being “fixed,” the air conditioning barely worked despite calling reception five times, and the food quality was subpar. Even one of the staff members privately admitted the hotel handled the situation poorly.
