Management at 1004 absolutely sucks. They are unprofessional and incompetent. I've lived here for 5 years because of work and I could write a book about the problems I've encountered. The most outstanding offences- an electrical fire in my flat due to faulty wiring and a rodent problem. The straw that broke the camel's back was when I told management about a car that has been parking space for almost 8 months. It's still there. Plus, when debris from my building fell on my car, I was flat out lied to by a woman named Joy and given the round around by the management team about liability. To close out the mattet, I had to pay to repair my own back windshield and lights. The final word from management is tenants and owners park at their own risk. Security at 1004 will do a better job of frustrating residents and their staff instead of protecting you. People who visit can park "anyhow" and will take your space, sometimes even if its protected... As I write, there are three abandoned cars in our cluster lot. The water is dirty. Electricity is dodgy. We pay a high service fee and I'm not sure why. The lights blow out in the stairways and they havent been replaced in years. Trash pick up has gotten better but that's about it. We still have a serious rat problem. I would never chose to live here...

As It’s Is Popularly Called 1004, There Are 1004 Apartments In The Block Of Flats. 1004 Estate was originally opened in 1979 as a high amenity and upscale estate for the accommodation of senators and members of the House of Representatives and was subsequently occupied by senior Federal Civil servants until its acquisition by 1004 Estates Limited for N7 billion representing the single largest property transaction in 2007. The company commenced refurbishment of the estate in 2008 which involved the stripping, replacement of all internal mechanical/electrical fittings and internal partitions. The entire external services equipments for power, water and sewage were extensively redesigned and constructed to meet the changing needs of the Housing market. The Exterior facade was also extensively remodeled to a modern finish, while the apartment sizes enjoyed an...

My stay here is going to remain memorable for a really long time basically because of the memories I made there. Those apartments are beautiful, organised, functional and well secured though old. Maintenance is fair and the rent is freaking high but I guess you're prepared for it cos that's Lekki you know? Island things. Generally speaking, I'll like to stay there rather than most other places in Lag I've lived. Can't even explain why cos community life is zero and everyone minds their business, still, I'll pick there over a ton of other cute places. Oh, and the view from my apartment balcony was breathtaking. Had it poorly captured but I'll just upload...
