Ancient Flavours located at the Shoprite Jabi Lake Mall Food Court is so quietly spoken that you kind of happen upon it though it's in plain sight. It's a tastefully furnished eatery professing to serve continental fare, I wasn't quite sure what that meant but their Thai beef salad, and the chicken equivalent, was great. Prices were moderate. Very easy to access, I followed the map, and I was led here, no hiccups. The environment and atmosphere were perfect for my quiet, out-of-home breakfast.

The outdoor dining area is beautiful, but the day sun might not let you enjoy it.

It wasn't packed at all, probably cos of the time and day, but I definitely loved that.

They have different and decently priced breakfast options. And the staff are so courteous.

Awful experience. Steaks are as overpriced as they are overcooked. Ordered medium rare. After waiting 40 minutes, got a steak cooked beyond "well done". When I showed them the sorry looking grayish shoe sole they served me, they pretended that that's what medium rare means... Only after I showed them pictures on the net of medium rare steaks and asked for the cook that they finally admitted they screwed up the order...Respect good meat and give this...
