Of all who claim to sell the highly sought after suya, none exists in Abuja that nearly compares to Yahuza. The trails that lead up to the plaza which houses Yahuza isn't fantastic and almost promises to disappoint, however to the un-discouraged, lies the reward for effort's worth. Care not about parking as you'd have enough space for whatever you bring. As you walk into the unusual setting of a suya spot, fresh minty scents of dried pepper fills the air and your nose, you'd want to breath in more. The impressively clean environment is just a tip of the iceberg. As you step in and notice how separate Hands handle cash and meat, you'd know your health isn't about to be compromised. Drawing closer to the slicing table, the scent intensifies. Watching these men slice away parts of meat is art. Read moreYahuza Suya spot is a lovely take away service, serving their trademark barbeque chicken. Throughout the city of Abuja, they have many spots but this particular one, right behind the AP Plaza in Wuse 2 is one of my favorites.
At Yahuza Suya spot, you are able to get grilled chicken, beef, gizzard and masara (a local fulani delicacy made of grounded corn).
Their service efficiency is premium, as they have a dedicated cash point for payments, and a separate desk for delivery of ordered food items.
I would highly recommend a visit to Yahuza Suya spot, as they have proven to be one of the loveliest grills in town.
I wish I shared pictures of some chicken, cos even as I type these words, my cravings for the chicken Suya has just been...
