This restaurant is gorgeous! I remember the excitement of my date and I on the trail going in, the flowers, the lights, simply beautiful. I wish the indoor and outdoor settings had brighter lights tho, it was dim and the flickering light was weird for me. The seats were also uncomfortable, the table was shaky, they could do more with providing aesthetics and comfort, it was just aesthetics here. The food was good, expensive tho, I'd say we are paying more for the ambience than the food itself. I ordered the passion fruit virgin mojito because they had no daiquiri which was upsetting while my date ordered the virgin colada. I didn't like the presentation and the cup used for my drink was basic for that price but my date's was fine. It wasn't the best I've had but it was okay. For food, I ordered the honey ginger wings, I expressed my dismay about honey and the waiter told me it could be removed but it wasn't. Also ordered a side of dirty rice and french fries. The portion of the fries was small. The service was a bit slow, maybe because the place was busy, the staffs were warm but honestly could do more in offering exceptional service. Waited a while for our bill. But overall it was good, I wasn't very satisfied but they are worth another chance so, I'd recommend, just be prepared for the cost!

Really great food. loved the beef brisket tacos and tori katsu with dirty rice main. the environment was great sitting inside or outside... I was here two days in a row so I got to experience both areas. the only negative experience I had was on the first night with the desert. my partner and I ordered a cheesecake to share at the table (and a spaghetti and meatball main to-go) and it took a really long time to get the food... the spaghetti was done out at least 15 minutes before we got the cheesecake. and when it eventually got to us, the crumble was frozen and was tough as gravel so we sent it back and called it a night. I would've appreciated a bit more communication from their staff while we were waiting for what we thought would take the shortest time compared to our other orders, but we had to keep asking for updates ourselves. i should emphasize that everything was exceptional up until that point. on the second night though, everything was great. we got the tacos again (really recommend them), honey wings, the tori katsu and spaghetti meatballs and we stayed far away from any dessert 😭 The service was really good on night 2. I'll shout-out our waiter, Henry, he was superb.

Canes and Lemons is another nice, aesthetically pleasing restaurant in the Tech Art District. It took a little difficulty getting to the place but we did. You can't miss the entrance just after the entrance to Amazonia. You'll first be met by Canes as you strolled down towards the restaurant, then the Lemons and it is a really beautiful atmosphere at night. The restaurant had the indoors and Outdoors but we preferred the Outdoors. The ambience was great, not so different from the usual Abuja restaurant theme but something extra exciting in the Tech Art District. We had a fun night as the DJ kept jogging between old skool and Naija jamz. It was good. The food was really good too, I enjoyed it. The drinks were quite alright. We enjoyed the place. I think one really great aspect t about the restaurant is the service. The attendants were really professional and nice. Canes and Lemons will definitely be in my top 10 restaurants in Abuja. And I'm looking forward to my next visit ☺️ Ambience ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Service ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Food ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Drinks ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Location ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Very nice plant-filled setting, decent food, but comical drinks service due to bad management.

Dinner for 3, ordered cocktail, bottle of white wine and beer (which came with set menu). 25 mins later only cocktail has arrived. Went to bar to follow up and find about 6 waiters there. One brings a warm can of Heineken to our table. We send back and then are told that they only have warm cans because management has not given them permission to put them in the fridge. And they can’t give us a cold bottle of Heineken instead because bottles is not part of the set menu. Wine - they offered two choices of white wine, we pick one. Told none are kept chilled so now it would take an hour to chill one.

Spoke to the supervisor and manager - very smart looking but zero clue. Insisted that we take the warm cans of beer (even though I would be happy to pay extra for a cold bottle) and says that they don’t keep any wines in the fridge because many customers like to drink their white wines warm 😂

In the end we drank warm wine and beer diluted with ice cubes with our dinner. Would be funny if we hadn’t paid 30k per person...
