I ordered a potatoe porridge and the pasta linguine. First the service is so bad from a simple conversation on the phone, to the time it takes for them to reply with the price of the whatever you ordered to the time and even lacking store updates.. You can not order food and 30mins to the time given for delivery, you're getting a call to say an important part of the dish is not available and can they put something else instead. That's very wrong, at the point of order the time taken to get back to your customer should be used to find out if every meal can be achieved with availability of stock in your kitchen. Third the food came really bland the pasta I didn't understand why it had just a tiny slice or little piece of breast chicken I kept searching for something else and I wondered for the price charged. I was totally disappointed. Hear so much about Taj Bistro and decided to order in. Maybe service is better when dining in. But this was my experience just some days back. They charge a vat of more than 7.5% and when asked (to have my bill calculated again) as I was charged way more than 10% on my Vat for the food and delivery, oh yeah your uber/bolt deliveries are also taxed. The phone attendant or customer care rep said that's how it is on their system. So basically it's automatic. Well food alone was over 30,000 naira will share pictures of the two bowls below and the plastic spoon. Lol 😂🤡

Taj Bistro is a restaurant in Wuse 2 which offers a range of Nigerian and Intercontinental cuisine. It is a gorgeous and intimate space with a bold stairway entrance and feature wall, an open kitchen, open bar, private dining room, private shisha lounge, live cooking stations and a main dining room. Most parts of the restaurant offer a view of Wuse 2 but the view from the shisha lounge is easily my favourite. Look out for the fun catchphrase "Taj made me do it". It is great for groups, private events, dates and chill nights out. Unfortunately, this restaurant is not wheelchair accessible. The food and drink is really tasty but quite pricey. The Taj platter is a delicious starter. It has puff puff coated with cinnamon sugar, sweet wings and spicy snails.while the snail was spicy and a bit chewy. The French Toast had a nice balance of sweetness from the whipped cream and tart from the strawberry sauce it was drizzled with. The Full English Breakfast was a hearty platter and I particularly liked the bacon, mushroom and bits of steak. For mains, the Chicken wraps were very spicy and packed a lot of heat. There's a live cooking station for steak and other kinds of meat which is a great and entertaining experience. I like when restaurants create food experiences that are memorable. I finished things off with a delicious and sweet mini strawberry cheesecake which was decadent.

I have been wanting to eat at Taj Bistro for quite sometime now but yesterday I made my craving a reality. Taj Bistro is a nice restaurant off the famous Adetokunbo Ademola Crescent in Wuse 2 of Abuja. The welcoming ambience and soft music is actually really nice, the setting and decor of the Bistro is quite inviting too. Although there wasn't anything really spectacular about the decor but it was still quite nice. There were light issues when I visited but they were able to fix it quite quickly and I must point that out especially at this time when small business are really going through a lot due to the cost of running generators. The staff were all nice and polite and the best part of my visit was the food. Although it took some time to arrive, the food was totally worth the wait. We had the Taj seafood rice and Signature jollof rice and it was really good. At first I wasn't sure how good it was because I was hungry but it dawned on me, the food was amazing!!! We also ordered the King Suya Prawns but that wasn't as good as the rice. For drinks we had the Bellini and a strawberry Daiquiri and that was really good too. Taj is definitely one of the best Bistros in Abuja and to mention the food is quite affordable too. Update: Went back and it's still one of the best Bistros in Abuja Ambience ⭐⭐⭐ Service ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Food ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Drinks ⭐ ⭐ ⭐⭐ Location ⭐⭐⭐⭐
