Johnny Rockets — Restaurant in Bærum

This experience doesn't even deserve one star.

I recently visited Johnny Rockets in Sandvika, and I must say, it was a truly disappointing dining experience. The quality of the meal was appalling. The bread was absolutely disgusting — poor quality and unappetising. As for the "hamburger," it wasn’t a hamburger at all; it was more like very cheap patty. At best. It was thin, dry, and difficult to eat.

To make matters worse, one of the four meals we ordered required a gluten-free bun. I was charged an extra 31kr for this. Surly a "hamburger" comes with a bun? This additional charge was both excessive and unjustifiable.

Overall, the experience was shocking. Between the extremely poor quality of the food and the unexpected extra charge for something that is already part of the meal, I won't be returning anytime soon.

Thank you for your response. My review was not intended to reflect on the staff's service but rather on the quality of the food. The service was as expected—nothing out of the ordinary. No "exra mile." We placed our order, and the food was brought out. There were no extra requests. We were as any other customer there. The main issue was the disappointing taste and poor quality of the food, which led to an unpleasant dining experience.

I wanted to eat a vegetarian burger here and not only do these cost way more than the ones with meat (which makes me question the quality of the meat they use), but when I asked for the option to make a regular burger vegetarian they wanted to charge me 40kr extra. Let me make this clear again. I did not ask for an additional petty but simply to have the meat one replaced with a vegetarian one. This is a service that they offer on the menu without the information that they would charge extra. This is the place to go if you want to fall in love. Whether you fall in love with the food, the staff, the feeling of a real american diner, or all the above as I did, it's a place worth a visit. Located at the first floor at Sandvika Storsenter shopping mall, this joint serves you the closest you'll get to a perfect burger, served by a genuine sweet and friendly staff in a spotless clean restaurant.
