TukTuk -Thai Diner & Takeaway- Sandvika — Restaurant in Bærum

Service was okay but this is the kind of place where u get up to the counter, order, pay first and then receive the food. Qick and easy. I have dined here many times. They have exelent authentic soups and the dishes here are great. The portions are filling and they have a couple of sides and starters you can choose from. The atmosphere here is a little mixed. The resturant is very cozy and have really nice decorations but since this is placed in the same building as the movie theater you have to expect hearing people gong in and out due to the resturant being close to the entrance of the building. But the food and the prices makes the little hassle worth it. The decorations here are what makes me comfy while dining here. It's a really nice place to take a moment to catch your breath from the city or big mall next door. It's also great for grabbing a bite before watching a movie.

Definitely coming back here to order...

Yesterday we had to put our dog to sleep, and it’s hard to believe, but the food from this place made me more sad than losing our furry family member. And somewhat angry.

Let’s start: The food is truly generic, tasteless and has nothing to do with Thailand beyond the titles of the dishes. Matter of fact, it’s so sad and bland that a stroll along a lonely Norwegian road on a rainy dark cold Sunday afternoon in November will bring more joy to your loins than their Pad Thai and Pad King. Incredibly, there is more taste in average Norwegian moss that grows on lifeless grey stones, than in their spring rolls.

This just makes me angry because they charge obscene prices and dishonor the wonderful cuisine that is Thai food. Anyone who gives this place more than one star has obviously had their taste buds burnt to death after years and years of eating overly hot risgrøt...

Det smake ikke Thai mat. Dette er ikke en «troll-profil» som du trodde. Og ikke de andre. Jeg er fra Thailand og oppvokst i Thailand. Jeg kommentar det jeg synet om maten, og det smakte ikke thai mat. Det er jo ikke Thailand. Kylling forrette smake ingen ting. Jeg har vært der nå på onsdag og riktig det var thailandske kokk som driver der. Men uansett hvem som lage mat der, det smake ikke ekte thai mat. Kanskje de hadde glemt en krydder som pleie å ha i mat, vet ikke!?. Alt er ikke for å skade dere men kommentar er kommentar. Dette er mitt kommentar. Jeg syns det smakte ikke thai mat men kanskje andre syns det. Det spille ingen rolle om hvor jeg er fra men du skal respektere de andre også. Respektere kunder om hva de sier.
