Saporito — Restaurant in Bærum

I am not one to write reviews about places but I feel obliged to do it on this occasion. To start the food was fine and it is probably the best food at Sandvika Storsenter. The one waitress working there was above average. In Norway you can't expect prestine service but she accommodated us the best she could. My problem are with cooks, whom neither were Norwegian, nor Italian for that mattter. I had just come from work extremely hungry not eating breakfast, so me and my girlfriend had ordered 3 main dishes. A small sandwich to share and 2 of their pastas, in addition we ordered calamari and foccacia as an appetizer. Once the order came in the short order cooks had a lengthy discussion amongst themselves which I interpreted as if I had the ability to pay for the food ordered. My girlfriend arrived with the baby about a half an hour earlier and just ordered a soda and they gave her the evil eye. My suspicions were eventually confirmed once I paid the bill, the waitress walked over the chefs and said " everything is OK". Not sure exactly what prompted these cooks to think in that direction they are probably new or possibly on a NAV work program, nonetheless I won't be dining with them...

An italian restaurant in a modern-styled locale with high ceilings. They serve a nice selection of what you would expect from the Italian kitchen; Pizzas, Pasta, salads, and sandwiches. The price is a little steep, but you get good quality and taste, and in the warmer part of the year, you can find a table both indoors and outdoors. Staff is generally good at providing table service and the experience is also that the kitchen is both efficient...

En liten vennegjeng på 3 spiste lunsj hos dere i dag. Vi kommet inn, og blir møtt av ei ung kvinne med mobil i hånden. Som titter opp når vi kommer inn, og som gir oss beskjed om at vi kunne sitte hvor vi ville. Hun tittet så ned i sin mobiltelefon igjen. Vi setter oss ned og ser at det ligger menyer i hylla ved siden av oss. Den unge kvinnen er ikke på vei mot oss, så vi tar menyer frem selv. Etter det kommer hun bort med menyer i hendene. Etter 2-3 minutter kommer hun bort med bestillingsskjermen i hånden, og stirrer ned i den "er dere klare for å bestille?" Uten å se bort på oss. Hvorpå jeg svarer at vi trenger 2 minutter til. Hun kommer så bort. Stirrer ned i skjermen igjen. Vi bestiller det vi ønsker. Ingen smil. Vi sier "takk" når hun tar i mot menyene våre. Ingen reaksjon. Snur ryggen til oss og går.

Vi ønsket alle sammen prøve fritert akkar Vi kjenner at den er varm og nyfritert, men den var seig som viskelær.

Hovedretten kom. Alle 3 var enig i at det smakte godt. Den ene i gjengen liker ikke pizza-skorpe, men vedkommende kommenterte at skorpen her faktisk var god. Salaten var også god på smak.

Derfor: vil dere ha smakfull pizza med fin skorpe, er dette stedet. Hvis du tar til takke med litt kjølig og...
