Bien Snackbar — Restaurant in Bergen

Food was acceptable with a lot of classics. A bit pricey, especially if you want to take anything off the burgers. Went on two separate days, the first I met the manager who was able to share more about the restaurant and overall great conversations. The second time I went it was much more disappointing. I'm not sure what staff breaks look like at this place, but my waitress was actively chewing almost any time she did come to interact with me or other customers. The waitresses didn't talk to me, were on their phones, and or talking to one another. A very good example of customer service making a big difference, especially when a large older group came in and none were offered to order with a waiter they had to do it by QR code. The atmosphere was pretty barren with decor and since it was connected to the pizza place on the other side you could hear them during...

We were seated quickly, but then after placing our order through our phones, we decided to take it to go. The restaurant was not very inviting, the floors looked dirty, and the lack of service gave us a bad feeling about how the rest of the meal would go. We then waited over 30 minutes for our food. No one checked in with us, looked in our direction, nothing. We finally approached them to ask if they could check on our order and within about one minute, they brought our food to the table… As if it had been ready and waiting when we asked. The food had obviously been sitting quite a while by the time we ate. The cheese on the burger was burnt and the breading on the fish sandwich was also burnt. Not very good.

Avoid this place. I am certain there are much better...

Bien bar: Bringing a bit of the big city into the small one.

While the orange lightrail travels by, and the twinkling lights from the ambulance cars runs fast up towards Bergens big hospital, this place is situated in one of Bergens most trafficked areas. It does'´t sound very tempting at first to sit down and relax, but it actually is quite the opposite.

It´s the feeling that you get from Edward Hopper "Nighthawks" oil painting from1942 , it gives you a Mad man interior, and it also has great food for a good price.

It´s a place to calm down and see life rushes past you while you´re relaxing with a nice beer, a delicious blue cheese burger, and enjoy the beautiful design furnitures and interior custom made for the bar.
