Came on a weekend for breakfast. The café was calm, not crowded but popular with a constant stream for takeaways.

This place embodies many good qualities of a fine bakery. The café is welcoming, rustic and an aroma of baked breads fills the air. On entering, you feast your eyes on the delicious looking pastries on the counter and get lost with imaging what the different breads on lining the walls would taste like.

I had a savoury focaccia with chicken that was bursting with flavors with each bite. The brewed coffee was medium bodied and smooth.

Cool fresh airconditioning in the shop and comfortable to linger awhile on the wooden park benches and enjoy the soft music.

Friendly staff who obliged a warm up of the bread and came around to top up the coffee.

Kritisk kommentar incoming; - Har hørt så mye skryt om Bakfickan og sikla selv over hvor gode blant annet kanelsnurrene deres så ut, men jeg skal være ærlig å si at jeg aldri har smakt en så kjedelig og tørr kanelsnurr i hele mitt liv. Bakevarene ligger ute og jeg vil ikke akkurat si at det er så veldig fristende mtp smitte (covid-19). Oppskrytt og unødvendig dyrt. Hører ikke hjemme noen plasser at bare én kanelsnurr skal koste rundt 50kr når den ikke gir deg en eneste god smaksopplevelse. De har sikkert fornøyde kunder men etter min opplevelse ønsker jeg ikke å handle der...
