Royal India — Restaurant in Hamar

I recently visited Royal India with high hopes for a delightful dining experience, but unfortunately, I left thoroughly disappointed. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that the staff's attitude was far from welcoming. The arrogance and lack of manners displayed by the employees left a lasting negative impression on my visit.

Not only did the staff members seem disinterested in providing proper service, but their dismissive and haughty behavior truly marred the entire meal. It's disheartening to witness such disregard for customers' satisfaction. No one should have to endure such an unwelcoming environment when they're looking forward to a pleasant dining outing.

The disappointment extended beyond the service, as the overall experience suffered. The food, which I had heard promising things about, was overshadowed by the uncomfortable atmosphere created by the Owners demeanor. The combination of delicious dishes could not save the evening from being soured by the treatment received.

In the end, I would caution anyone considering a visit to Royal India. While the potential for a great dining experience might be there, the present reality falls far short

I ate at this Indian restaurant and ordered a Murgh Tikka Masala (6/10), Garlic Naan (10/10), Hariyali Naan (7/10), and a Juicy IPA (0.5L, 10/10).

The main dish was okay – the sauce was clean in flavor but should have been thicker and more full-bodied for this type of curry. It was also topped with raisins, which isn’t for everyone (and personally I’m not a fan). The naan breads were the highlight: you could really taste that they were made in the tandoor, which was a big plus. The garlic naan was outstanding (10/10), while the hariyali naan was decent but felt like something was missing. The beer was great, though it came with quite a lot of foam.

The restaurant itself had a nice atmosphere, playing light Indian music in the background, and the staff were incredibly friendly...

Some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. They sat us at a table and after ten minutes, took our order and gave us our drinks. After nearly an hour, our food arrived. No one checked on us in that entire period. The naan was greasy and luke warm and the food we requested "spicy" was not spicy at all. When I went to pay, they just shoved the card machine towards me. Incredibly rude staff. Will not be recommending this...
